No. KA-19-MB-3261 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Prashantha Rai a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 27/02/2011 at 1020 hrs in front St. Agnes college at Bendoor Mangalore one unknown motorcycle rider drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Selvia Fernandez R/o Kulashekara Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.  The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 26/02/2011 at 1320 hrs near bus stand at Gurupura Muloor village Mangalore Taluk one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-5285 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due which Saroja who was traveling in the said bus got thrown out from bus and sustained simple injuries.

·   A case under Rioting, Criminal restraint, attempt to Murder along with Murder has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 25/02/2011 at 1230 hrs accused unknown 04-05 culprits came in a Scorpio vehicle and forming in to unlawful assembly at Bandasele Muloor village Mangalore Taluk and criminally restrained a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KL-14-F-9963 and assaulted Kabeer, Nazeer and Sarfraz with sword owing to previous enmity. Further Kabeer was succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

On 24/02/2011 hrs at 1530 hrs accused Sunil Saliyan, Sharan and other 13 unknown persons came in a Maruthi Omni car and forming into unlawful assembly with deadly weapon in the R.N. Garage shop at Kottara Chowki Mangalore and attempted to murder one Nelson D Souza (27) R/o Kottara Chowki Mangalore by assaulted him with sword and with iron rod and then forcibly took away cash Rs. 1, 00,000 from his shop and also damaged the shop by pelting stone.

At that time two unknown person came in a motorcycle and then forcibly took away a Nokia Mobile Phone from her and run away with their motorcycle. The value of the property is Rs. 5,000/.

In between 1630 hrs of 19/02/2011 and 1300 hrs of 23/02/2011 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Chandranatha M (37) R/o Unity compound Karnadu village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed theft of gold and silver ornaments all in worth Rs1,54,000/.

On 22/02/2011 at 2015 hrs near Shanthi Church at Mangala Devi Temple road Mangalore one Shakir rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA19-EC-4218 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Kamalaksha a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. Further Kamalaksha was admitted to Fr Muller Hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries on 23/02/2011 at 0820 hrs.

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 23/02/2011 at 1815 hrs at Masthikatte Hosabettu village Mangalore Taluk one unknown lorry driver drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-L-4525. As a result one Shanmugam @ Sathisha rider of said motorcycle sustained serious injuries and died on the spot. The unknown lorry driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

No. KA-19-A-4613 belonging to one Kamaruddin R/o Highland Mangalore that was parked in the parking place of Medicity Medical shop at Falnir Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 8,000/.

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 21/02/2011 at 2100 hrs on MRPL-ONGC road at Surathkal Mangalore one Harjith Singh driver of Trailer lorry bearing Reg. No. HR-38-BJ-5174 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Raghavendra Ravooth a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. Further Raghavendra Ravooth succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 22/02/2011 at 0930 hrs near Padavu Yuvaka Mandala at Putthige village Mangalore Taluk one Sridhar @ Suresh driver of Tipper lorry bearing Reg. No. CNX-6262 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-3251. As a result one Renuka who was traveling in the said  auto rickshaw sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.

On 22/02/2011 at 1200 hrs at Kotekar Panchayath Mangalore one Riyaz @ Nandan driver of a auto Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-D-65 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-2624 driven by John Sushil (48) R/o Kulashekara Mangalore. As a result car got damaged. No causality reported.

·        A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 21/02/2011 at 2230 hrs near Sapthagiri Hotel at Kavoor junction Mangalore one Ibrahim rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-4725 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Rajesh Alva a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

No. KA-20-A-7895 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a scooty scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EB-3985. As a result scooty scooter rider Ronald D’ Carstha and Baby pillion rider of said scooty scooter sustained serious injuries. Further Ronald D’ Carstha and Baby succumbed to their injuries while on the way to hospital.

On 02/02/2011 at 1530 hrs on NH-48 at Valacchil Arkula village Mangalore Taluk one Fazil Rehaman rider of a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-1577 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result one Junaid pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

No. KA-19-MB-5665 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-5629. As a result Umesha (49) R/o Ekkur Mangalore and Harish who were traveling in the said tempo sustained grievous injuries.

Unnatural Death Report: 02

·        A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 01/02/2011 one Mallikarjuna (67) R/o Indira Nilaya Kotekaru village Mangalore Taluk attempt to commit suicide by consuming poison in his house owing to personal problem. Further he was admitted to K.S. Hegde hospital at Deralakatte Mangalore where he declared dead while under treatment on 21/02/2011 at 1415 hrs.

·     A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 02/02/2011 at 1030 hrs one Shekara Belchada (35) R/o Kodakkal Kannur village Mangalore Taluk accidentally fell down from the tree while cutting branches of the tree and got seriously injured. Further Shekara Belchada (35) was admitted to Colaco hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries on same day.
