No. KA-19-C-1862 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one William Rodrigues (43) R/o Kulshekhar Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. The car driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

accident has been registered in Mangalore Traffic East Police Station. On 29/06/2011 at 1700 hrs in front of Auto Matrix at Bejai Mangalore one driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-3746 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-1862. As a result car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-1862 damaged and no casualties found. The car driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 28/06/2011 at 1600 hrs at Marpadi village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Tempo bearing Reg. As a result Jainuddin rider and Musthafa pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

On 26/06/2011 at 1430 hrs one Sukumar (28) R/o Boloor Mangalore committed suicide by consuming poisonous things in his house owing to health problem. Further he was admitted to KMC Hospital Mangalore where he succumunded to his injuries while under treatment on 28/06/2011.

·       A case of Man missing has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 23/06/2011 at 1700 hrs one Stewan Pereira (53) R/o near Bhat Nursing Home Gandhinagar Mangalore went out from the house and did not return to his house thereafter. He has been found missing since then.

Gambling Raid: Six Arrested, Rs 3,100/ seized

On 29/06/2011 at 0030 hrs Ramesh Kumar PSI Moodabidre along with his staff on credible information conducted raid near Anganavady Centre at Karinje village Mangalore Taluk. At the time of raid Police found 06 persons playing “Ander - Bahar” with cards. The Police seized cash Rs. 3,100/ and playing cards from the spot by arresting Mahammad Asif, Ashraf Ali, Saleem , Abdul @ Addu, Sadhik and Ahammad who were indulging in gambling. In this connection, a case has been registered against the arrested persons in Moodabidre PS U/s 87 of the Karnataka Police Act.

In between 2215 hrs of 28/05/2011 and 0730 hrs of 29/05/2011 some unknown culprits committed theft of a TVS Excel motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EC-5726 belonging to one Mohammad Khalandar (30) R/o Mangalapadavu Bantwal Taluk that was parked at a public place near Basha Lane old Bunder Road Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 25,000/.

No. KA-20-V-667 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-3771. As a result Mahendra (25) rider and Lalith pillion rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-3771 sustained serious injuries. Further Mahendra admitted to AJ Hospital Mangalore where he succumunded to his injuries while under treatment. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 26/06/2011 at 1815 hrs on NH 66 at Kulur old Bridge one Ramakrishna Kamath driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AA-8998 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which the vehicle capsized. As a result one Ramkrishna Kamath driver of lorry who was thrown out and sustained grievous injuries and died on the spot.

·        A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 25/06/2011 at 1330 hrs at Kana Surathkal Mangalore Taluk one driver of Gas Tanker bearing Reg. No. KA-01-AC-7047 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-8794. As a result motorcycle rider Manjesh and pillion rider Ramesh sustained serious injuries. Further Ramesh succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital and Manjesh admitted to AJ Hospital Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment at 1445 hrs.

On 24/06/2011 at 2030 hrs Daddalkad Urwastores Mangalore one Ashwini driver of New Maruti Ritz car drove her vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EC-4254. As a result motorcycle rider one Athish Kumar (23) R/o Ashoka nagar Mangalore sustained simple injuries.

·  A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 23/06/2011 at 2115 hrs at Chokkabettu Mangalore Taluk one Mohammed Tameem driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MB-3520 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-EC-1626.
